The Art-E Awards recognizes and celebrates the contribution and accomplishments of leaders, teachers, artists, administrators, institutions and arts advocates with a track record of contributing to the performing arts and the advancement of performing arts education.
CEPA (California Educators for Performing Arts) is the host for this years ART-e Awards and is sponsored by the Dance Discovery Foundation.

Education Leadership Award
Honors unique and creative leaders that demonstrate guidance, integrity and outstanding commitment to performing arts education. Their work has been highly effective in achieving positive change and inspiring others through their own example.

Outstanding Contribution Award
Honors performing arts educators, parental supporters and administrators who have made a special contribution in the lives of students. Who have found creative and significant ways to incorporate promoting self-improvement, professional development and commitment.
(For contributions in Tap education in Southern California)
Emerging Educator Award
Honors an emerging performing arts educator that has demonstrated leadership, advocacy and/or mentorship. A student who's dedicated to education, whom represents the impact of Kids helping Kids through Dance.
(for leadership with teacher apprentice and Company VI)
Special Recognition Award
Honors an individual who has displayed exemplary commitment to the development, preservation and legacy of the performing arts, through effective implementation of programs, services, advocacy or support and embodies the influence of the arts in his or her life.
(for 20 years of commitment to contemporary dance education in OC and the creation of Compass Dance and Choreographer Showcase)
